Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone! My name is Hanne, and I just graduated school to become a nail technician. I'm in the process of getting my license, and I thought it would be a great time to start a nail blog. A lot of my designs are inspired by other nail artists, and I will do my best to mention where my inspiration comes from for each design.

If you have any suggestions or requests as to what you would like me to do next, let me know! I'd also be happy to do pictorials, if anyone is interested in a step-by-step walk through of the design process.

In honor of my first blog post, and my friend's birthday, I made these simple birthday nails. I'm honestly not sure who did the balloon nails or candle nails first, as I've seen both a lot. If you know who I can credit, please tell me in the comments.
I used Essie Blue Rhapsody as the base, OPI Alpine Snow as the white candles, and  LA Colors Art Deco stripers for the pink, yellow, red, and green balloons. These are so easy to do, and I think they're perfect for a birthday party!
